JANJI JIWA RECEIVE SILVER WINNER MARKETEERS YOUTH CHOICE AWARD (YCA) 2022

Jakarta, March 28, 2022 - Marketeers as a media platform publisher of Marketeers Magazine, Marketeers TV and news portal Marketeers.com awarded the Silver Winner award to Janji Jiwa in the Coffee To Go category at the Marketeers Youth Choice Award (YCA) 2022. This is the highest award for a brand that has received positive appreciation from Generation Z. The Marketeers YCA 2022 award was obtained by Janji Jiwa at the Marketeers XFest 2022 event which was held virtually on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

For information, Marketeers again held the 2022 Youth Choice Award (YCA) to take a closer look at which brands attract the hearts of Indonesian consumers. This award is given to the best brands based on online voting which takes place from January 4, 2022 to February 28, 2022.

This voting involved more than 1,500 respondents from Gen Z circles from more than 35 well-known universities in various cities in Indonesia. The campuses are spread across Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Salatiga, Malang, Surabaya, and others. Cities that are indeed the learning goals of Generation Z.

The survey method used is that respondents choose three of five brands in one category. The selection of brands in one category is based on data, both sales performance and market share gain, as well as research on marketing activities carried out by these brands.

Generation Z is the first digital native born from 1995-2010. They are a huge market, both present and future. Currently, Gen Z is the dominant population in Indonesia. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the population of this generation reaches 29.23% of the total population of Indonesia.
